Saturday we did the first annual 5k TrailTrek at Horton Haven Camp. This was a family event and even the little guy got his very own participant number!
This is how we started out (plus me pushing an empty and very bouncy jogging stroller)
Bright's little legs amazed us as she walked probably 1 1/2 miles of the course! Pete was the pack mule- Bright 30+ lbs, Decker John and pack 25+ lbs!
Papa walked back and helped us finish after he was completed his run.
Our little racer got a ribbon for the under 11 age group
(all the other kids had done a by the lap fund run)
So proud!
After the race we picnicked at the park and Decker John finally got his chance to run a little!
