well our sweet decker john has been 3 for a month now. amazing to us that he is growing up- that baby stage passes so quickly and now he's really not even a toddler any more. wow. slow down.
if you ask him how old he is he'll tell you "i'm two again" and that's ok with me!
it was a puppy party... this boy loves all things puppy, well all things puppy, guitar and matchbox car...
he really got it about his birthday this year... it was a big deal and it was all about him! he started telling us he wanted a "minnie party" that's the name of his special puppy toy.
it was a family affair and we celebrated with cupcakes, ice cream and so much izzie soda we might have floated away!
he loved the candle and requested "fire" and singing every time we had a cupcake over the birthday weekend!
high fives all around! birthdays sure are fun!

by the end of the celebrating b had her candle out and we were singing to her! :)

So much fun!! I think we are finally out of the "Cars" stage. It is a good thing, since we watched that movie 100 times...well, it felt like it!
